130208 Fans Celebrate Sooyoung’s Birthday with a Newspaper Advertisement

In celebration of Sooyoung’s 24th birthday on February 10th, fans wished her a happy birthday through an advertisement in the daily newspaper. Im, a fan who planned the ad, stated, “There is a Japan concert planned on the 10th, the day of her birthday, but I hope they will let her show a great performance after eating tasty Lunar New Year’s rice cake soup.” He complimented her by adding, “Sooyoung is high and clear like the blue sky, so you feel fresh and cheerful just by looking at her.”

130131 Taeyeon voted as the #1 ‘petite’ female celebrity fans want to hold most

Girls’ Generation leader Taeyeon has been voted as the #1 ‘petite’ female celebrity who people want to hold.

Community portal site DC Inside held a survey from January 22nd to the 29th asking which petite female celebrity they want to hug most.

The results showed that out of the 7826 votes, Girls’ Generations Taeyeon took 1518 votes (19.4%), grabbing the top spot.  Taeyeon and her fellow member Sunny are lovingly nicknamed “Short Duo” by their fans.

Girls’ Generation member Hyoyeon took 2nd place with 1094 votes (14%).  Hyoyeon is the third shortest member of the group and has received attention for her charismatic dancing skills. Recently, she has also been showing off her humorous side on variety shows.

Third place with 1086 votes (13.9%) went to actress Goo Hye Sun. With her youthful look and wide-ranging talents, she is receiving a lot of love.

Other stars who made the list include actresses Park Bo Young and Han Ji Min as well as singer IU.

[NEWS][060711] Peruvian fans made their voices heard!

After Paris, Peruvian fans showed that they too can make their voices heard and they are dying to catch a glimpse of their beloved SM Town artistes.

About 4,000 Peruvian Kpop fans gathered in Lima, the capital city of Peru on July 3rd (KST), holding banners with captions like ‘SMTown in Peru’, etc to request for the SM Town Live World Tour concert to be held in Peru, South America.

Following that effort, on July 5th, a video was revealed through YouTube, showing how the Peruvian fans experienced the Korean food, dance, Taekwando and cultural activities. In addition to that, they also showcased their talents on stage, performing some of SM Town artistes’ biggest hits, as well as sending messages to cheer on their beloved idols.

Other than that, fans in Peru have also started petition campaigns on Twitter and Facebook.
